T-20: India beat England by 8 wickets in First T - 20

Team India started the England tour with a spectacular win. India beat England by 8 wickets in the first T-20 match played on 3^rd July 2018. In this series of 3 matches, India has taken a 1-0 lead. Hero of the match was K.L. Rahul, but Captain Virat Kohli also has a big achievement in his match. Virat Kohli has become the fastest batsman to score 2000 runs in T20.

Team India defeated England by 8 wickets, thanks to Lokesh Rahul's second T20 century and Kuldeep Yadav's five wicket win in Manchester T20. Team India has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T-20 series.

 Batting first, the England team, scored 159 by losing 8 wickets in 20 overs, and set a target to win of 160 runs to Team India.

Lokesh Rahul scored an unbeaten 101 not out in 54 balls with 10 fours and five sixes. This is his second century in T-20. He has become the second batsman in India to score two hundreds in T20.

Before this Rohit Sharma has scored two centuries in T20. Rohit Sharma scored 32 runs in this match and shared a 123-run partnership with Lokesh Rahul for the second wicket. Kuldeep Yadav was awarded the Man of the Match award for his outstanding performance in the first match.
