Jio to launch smart home and set top box, launches Jio Phone 2

During the 41st Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani has made a lot of announcement about Reliance Jio. Last year the company had launched the Geo Phone and now there have been some changes in this phone and a new variant of it has also been launched. Now users can also run Facebook, YouTube and Whatsapp in JioPhone.

JioPhone 2

The company has also announced JioPhone 2 which will be available from August 15. Its price has been kept at Rs 2,999. Users can upgrade to the old Jio Phone phone by paying 500 rupees. Effective price of JioPhone has been reduced from Rs 1500 to Rs 500.

Geo Gigafiber

On August 15, users can also register for GigaFiber. Priority will be given to the areas where more registration will be done. The company has said that through Geo GegaFiiber, India has to bring the list of Top 5 Fixed Line Broadband Service to the world. At present, Geo GigaFiiber is being used as a beta test for more than 10 thousand households. The company said those who are interested in can register for it from the company's website.

Smart Home, Set Top Box

The company said that now the days of MBPS have been taken and now we have GBPS. The second feature is set-top box and there is also a calling feature in it. Now live TV users can also video calling to other live TV users. 

JioGiga set-top box

The company has said that Geo Giga Set Top Box is like a 4K resolution theater in the house. There is also the facility of voice commands and you can also give commands by speaking in Hindi.

Jio Monsoon Hunger Offer

Mukesh Ambani has also introduced the Monsoon Hunger Offer with the launch of JioPhone 2. Under this offer, existing users can exchange old phone with the new phone at an effective price of Rs 501. It will start from August 1. Geo Phone 2 will begin to get started from August 15.
