ICC Latest Ranking
In the ICC's latest ODI rankings, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and batsmen Rohit Sharma hold on top position, while Jasprit Bumrah is at number three. Virat Kohli had played two half-century innings during the three-match ODI series against Australia, which was lost by Team India 1-2, while Rohit Sharma did not play in this ODI series due to injury. Despite this, he is in second place, while Virat Kohli is in first place. Pakistan batsman Babar Azam is third in the rankings of ODI batsmen and is five points short of Rohit Sharma.
Talking about the all-rounders' ODI rankings, Ravindra Jadeja has lost one place in this and has reached number eight at this time. The latest ICC ODI rankings were released on 27 Jan 2021, with Ireland all-rounder Paul Starling and Bangladesh spinner Mehendi Hassan benefitting significantly. Starling has gained eight places and has moved up to 20th position. He scored 285 against Afghanistan, in which he also scored a century in the second and third matches.
On the other hand, Bangladesh off-spinner Mehendi Hasan has gained nine places and has come in fourth place. In the bowlers' rankings, Trent Boult leads the table with 722 points, while Mujib-ur-Rehman is second with 708 points. Jasprit Bumrah, who is at number three, has 700 points. Mohammad of Pakistan Aamir is at number nine with 647 points while Pat Cummins is at tenth position with 646 points.
