Purvanchal Expressway

For the purpose of Purvanchal's ambitious project Purvanchal Expressway construction to continue on a war footing, funds have been released by the government for the financial year 2019-20. According to media reports, an amount of about Rs 2044.33 crore has been released. Let me tell you again that no reduction is being made by the government in completing the Purvanchal Expressway under construction from Lucknow to Ghazipur by the year 2020. It is being taken care that the construction of Purvanchal Expressway should be completed on the scheduled time.

Although the work was slowed down due to the rain, the construction work has regained its momentum after the rain is over. Those who are new on this channel, let me tell them again that the Purvanchal Expressway will start from Chand Sarai (District Lucknow) and end at Hydariya (District Ghazipur). This expressway will cover Lucknow, Barabanki, Faizabad, Ambedkaranagar, Amethi, Sultanpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia and Ghazipur districts. Its length will be around 341 KM.
